Thank you for considering our luxury beachfront condo on South Padre Island for your vacation! This condo is our second home and we maintain it with care. Our goal is to provide you with beautiful, comfortable, & clean accommodations so you can truly enjoy yourselves.

Our unit is ideal for a couple or small family of 4 people or less looking for that special beach vacation. We rent only to small groups and do not allow gatherings in our condo greater than the number of people on the lease. Sorry no Spring Breakers (HOA rule).

Edgewater Condominiums is a quiet beautifully maintained gated community (5 stories) located directly on the Gulf of Mexico. The outside of the building recently received a fresh coat of paint (in Jan 2010) and is looking spectacular. Our unit, located on the 3rd floor, has an amazing view of the ocean. The pool/Jacuzzi area is located beachside with easy access to and from the beach. A private tennis court is on the bayside of the building. Edgewater Condominiums is located near the entertainment district and is within easy walking distance of shops, and restaurants.

Peter and I have been visiting the island for over a decade. We love to windsurf and SPI is a great place to do that. In June of 2006 we bought this condo and renovated the inside. We enjoy doing all kinds of “home projects” so constant upgrades are always occurring. Our latest upgrade (New for 2011) was the master bath shower remodel with a walk-in shower and European glass sliding doors. The kitchen has been completely remodeled and sports new maple cabinetry and a large beautiful granite countertop. The floors have been tiled with a porcelain 16x16 tile the color of Saltillo to give it a fresh new look. New doors, soft white trim, peanut shell colored paint make the condo a comfortable, relaxing place to be! Our condo is sparkling clean and our goal is to keep it this way, year after year.

The living room and dining room are very comfortably furnished. The living room has a dark brown leather sectional and ottoman so you can relax and put your feet up while watching TV on our 42” wide screen TV or listening to music on our Sony sound system with IPOD dock, & DVD player. In 2010 we added digital cable and DVR with on demand and HBO. The dining room features a counter high kitchen table & chairs, 3 bar stools, and a separate wet bar area. The kitchen is nicely stocked with plenty of dishes, silverware, glasses, wine glasses, margarita glasses and cooking utensils. There is a reverse osmosis water system in the kitchen that provides clean fresh filtered drinking water at your fingertips. Rarely will you need to haul up jugs of water on your vacation. The ice is also filtered. We have a washer and dryer located in the unit for your use. The deck is spacious, inviting and has a fabulous view of the Gulf. The deck furniture is comfortable with nice soft thick cushions (newly replaced Jan 2010) for those of you who like a nice soft place to sit. It is great for reading, relaxing, having a glass of wine, or that morning cup of coffee. Our deck also has a gas grill— The Weber Q200 which all of our guests, ourselves included, love using!

The large master suite features a king-size bed (Denver Mattress Company –Doctor’s Choice Plush mattress) with a private full bath, and cable TV. The secondary bedroom features a comfortable queen size bed with a private bath and cable TV. Both bedrooms have vertical blinds and room darkening curtains for your comfort. I might add—we have PLENTY of pillows.

We provide FREE Wi-Fi and/or DSL for our guests in unit #302. Sit anywhere in our condo or out on the deck listening to the crashing waves while you check your email or surf the net!
